I am an Industrial Designer by training, and I enjoy problem solving as much as I enjoy identifying opportunities. My design background has expanded my expertise, and the design process continues to challenge me to learn more everyday. My skills are varied and each project uses skill sets differently. I embrace the opportunity to work on new projects and to learn new things. Here is a representative sample of my process and thinking.

Color and Graphics

Team Apparel Design

Orange and Black are the team colors for Comprehensive Racing's Triathlon and Cycling teams. You can spot this team anywhere they race with the signature look I designed for them. Allez! Allez!

Comprehensive Racing Logo

I developed the logo for Comprehensive Racing, a MA and NH based triathlon and cycling team.

Tri-fold Brochure

When Terrascaping opened a new retail venue called StoneFire by Design, they were in search of a way to explain the company's capabilities to new customers. The brochure became a way to communicate process to customers and an on-boarding method for new employees to learn the company story.

Tri-fold Brochure

The simple brochure outlines the basic steps and guiding principles that differentiated the StoneFire by Design approach from the competition. New spec sheets, a brochure and a website are in process to address the growth of the company's offerings.

Bike Frame Graphics

As part of a competition sponsored by Neil Pryde, I designed two paint and graphics colorways exploring the different aspects of "freedom" as a theme. My red, white and blue theme was selected as one of five finalists worldwide to be a part of an online customer survey.

Set up DFU for Baxter

Working with the team at Rethink Robotics, I helped to develop a series of user guides. I was responsible for illustrations, content and refinement to the graphic design layout.

Baxter Gripper Kits

Rethink Robotics provides gripper kits for Baxter as part of the system of use. I was responsible for component layout, sourcing a case, labeling and content development, design and illustration of the user guides.

User Guides

This is a sample of part of the User Guide for one of the Grippers fro Baxter. Illustrations were simple line drawings to complement concise instructions for use. Color and number schemes were used to highlight focal points for ease of use.

Retrofit Kit

As Baxter continues to grow with new market opportunities, I have worked with Rethink Robotics to refine additional User Guides and supporting illustration work.

Each guide uses the established framework and graphics design concept to make instructions as clear as possible for a novice, while minimizing redundancy for repeat users.
